5 is not so clear business plan mistakes to avoid
Everyone knows they need. All the plans in writing a later date. But not everyone does. Why Why? Because it is so easy to turn off and it is a task. I speak of writing a business plan. Many business owners put more effort in planning your vacation than they put in planning their activities. It is a pity, because an entrepreneur with a business plan is much more likely to be successful than one without a plan.
With just a little effort, you can plan the company of your dreams with the desired level of income, leisure, and emotional satisfaction. Clave is the business plan. Let's look at some errors that tend to make business plans and what you do to overcome.
Error # 1 – put it back to
It easy to hang in an open "for business" shingle then immersed in the bustle of the daily operations of your business. Things are going well and you think "A day I moved to writing this business plan "or" I do not need a business plan, after all "or" Who says you need a business plan to succeed? "Years later, when you wish to purchase a building or expanding operations learns that the bank or investors want a plan, but you do not have one.
Do not leave. Having a business plan helps you build your future, anticipate problems and plan for success. If you are still running on adrenaline, firefighting, and catch wasted time, is likely to have a business plan. So do it. blockage time in his schedule two to three hours a week to do so.
Error # 2 – It is a sufficiently large
Think big in creating a vision over the long term. This is your opportunity to design a company that exceeds your current situation. I've seen too many boring, limited, and go nowhere visions. Think in terms of the ideal and put you in the future. What do you like doing in your business? Most of the work? annoying things that you now? Of course not. You are the face of your business. Your task is to respond to customers, close the door to high, and rake in the dough.
What kind of income you want in your business? Big Think again. And do not say 20% better than now. What five opportunities ten years from now?
Norm Objective 3 – Low
A detailed business plan benefits is like a ship without a rudder. The business becomes a target aimlessly. You, as owner of a business should have goals for all aspects of your business. What I see is often a target of five years of income, but no monthly and annual goals to carry out final. I see very few business plans with customer goals, professional goals and personal goals. How many new customers that want each month? What are the objectives revenue for their products or services? What are the information products which occur in the future? have goals in life is what motivates people success. What are your goals?
Error # 4 – do not focus on marketing and branding
It is very easy to enter in statistics, theory and hyperbole in a business plan. I say "Show me the money!" What will you do to bring in the dough? Each plan Business worth the paper it's printed on must be an important marketing and image brand item. Check out your vision and decide what marketing activities you need to take to close the gap between the place where you are now and where you want to be in five or ten years.
If you want to highlight in the busy the market also need to establish a strong brand and continue working on this going forward. Invest in yourself and get a professionally designed corporate identity with the slogan, web site, business cards, full color, and so on. Nobody wants to do business with someone who does not look professional. So get rid of the corporate image dull and boring kicking a higher level.
Error # 5 – Not Work Plan
Why write a business plan if you put it in a drawer somewhere? You need to keep the map visible. You need to consider the plan on a weekly basis. You must ask "What now?" at least once a week. You should make sure they are getting results. No matter how brilliant the plan, you should take steps to achieve results. This is done by review your plan and monitor the activities of marketing results, and asking: "What is the biggest projects that I face approach the grand vision for tomorrow? "So one wonders if management has to change. If so, it's time to rewrite his plan.
